ABOUT US
In 1999, armed with nothing more than an analog camera, some household lights, and a dream,
Stunod Pictures was created (as Jbird Entertainment) to produce Founder and Director Jason
Prugar’s film, The Prize. Stunod Pictures is committed to making films that everyone can enjoy,
regardless of who they are. Since then there have been many different types of movies in an
effort to learn the craft. Future plans include continuing to produce original material and
broadening our media library, including a feature length film. Stunod consists of the following
individuals, all friends:

Each individual plays an equal and diversified role, dabbling is all aspects of filmmaking.
Jason oversees all of its operations, from gathering the material (often his own) to
distribution. With the acceptance of digital technology advancements in filmmaking,
Stunod Picture’s creativity soars into the new millennium by offering filmmakers a quicker
and easier way to fully realize their vision.
Stunod Pictures is currently located in Bethlehem, PA, halfway between New York City and

WHAT’S A STUNOD??
I often get asked ‘what is a stunod?’, as well as how you say it. The word is pronounced STEW-nod and while I’d like to say it’s a play on words or something that has an esoteric meaning, it is very simply
"donuts" backwards.
It stems back to my elementary school days when a friend of mine, Steve Strouse, use to call everything and their mother a stunod. It came up again a couple of years ago when my son was getting old enough to repeat what I was saying. I called my brother a Stunod around my son when he was being a moron and I needed a nice name to call him. My son loved it, laughing so hard he got the hiccups. When it came time to change our name, Stunod Pictures Entertainment was born.
